Training

All of our officers must go through an initial training course in order to obtain a state license and then continue the training throughout the year. We at GPS believe in quality officers so we go above and beyond the normal training that most security details go through. Our officers fo through the following training:

● Customer service training
● Security awareness
● How to properly write daily activity and incident reports
● How to evaluate, assess and deescalate training
● Quaterly firearms training for our armed officers
● Mass shooting training

General Protective Services is licensed through the state of California Department of consumer affairs, Bureau of security and investigative services. Our license number is PPO#16725. This and all security companies can be verified here.

Through our hiring process we conduct thorough background and drug checks. This is also done periodically throughout the year with every officer.

All of our officers are licensed through the same state department as our company license, BSIS. This can be also verified through the same website above.

We hold a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy that meets the state's standards.
